About

Permaculture practitioner · regenerative project organizer · community connector.

Who I am

Rooted in doing, growing through people

Permaculture practitioner with formal training through Geoff Lawton and Zaytuna Farm, combined with years of independent study and hands-on experience in regenerative land design.

Passionate about restoring desert landscapes through permaculture, natural building, and water-wise design — while bringing together people who share the same values. My greatest strength is connecting people and organizing collaborative projects where participants learn practical skills, build lasting friendships, and support one another’s future work.

My journey

From Findhorn to the Mojave

2014

Findhorn, Scotland

My path began at Findhorn, where I experienced a community deeply connected to nature, spirit, and one another. That experience stayed with me and changed the direction of my life.

Study

Geoff Lawton

I began studying permaculture through books, videos, and teachers — especially Geoff Lawton. His Greening the Desert work showed me that degraded land can be transformed through thoughtful design, water harvesting, soil building, and patience.

2021

Permaculture Design Course, Online

I spent many months studying Geoff Lawton’s comprehensive online Permaculture Design Course material.

2025

Zaytuna Farm, Australia

A two-week Permaculture Design Course followed by a three-month internship — food forests, natural building, animal systems, composting, nursery work, and water systems, all learned by doing. Zaytuna also showed me the power of mutual aid: people from many countries working together, helping one another, and becoming friends.

My strength

I am not trying to become a permaculture teacher. My strength is connecting people.

I love seeing who might enjoy knowing each other, who might help each other, and who might build something beautiful together — teachers, builders, gardeners, healers, and curious people, learning naturally through real projects.

Many people feel lonely even when their lives are full. When people work together, share meals, and build something real, friendship forms naturally. That is what I want for myself — and what I want to help create for others.
