Education & training
Completed Geoff Lawton’s comprehensive online PDC — design principles, food forests, water harvesting, soil regeneration, climate design, and sustainable living systems.
A two-week intensive Permaculture Design Course at Zaytuna Farm.
A three-month immersive internship: food-forest establishment and maintenance, soil building and compost systems, nursery propagation, water-harvesting systems, natural building, community-based living, and regenerative land management on collaborative international projects.
Experience
A comprehensive permaculture plan for a residential property in Rancho Mirage, California: water-wise landscape design, edible planting systems, desert-appropriate species, food-forest concepts, and long-term low-maintenance planning.
Developing relationships between people with shared interests, coordinating collaborative projects, and organizing educational opportunities — including a greywater workshop led by an experienced instructor for an international group.
For more than ten years, introducing children and families to gardening, edible plants, and food-forest concepts through hands-on experiences. Several of those children now carry a lasting love of regenerative living.
